I believe in providing students with a safe atmosphere in which creative thinking is encouraged and developed.  I want my students to learn and appreciate art and it’s history as well as enjoy the art making process and learning the skills and techniques needed to be successful in the art classroom.  I encourage students to be an active participator and to always show the effort they are making to improve on the skills I teach them.  I truly believe all students have the ability to be an artist and experience the rewards that the arts have to offer them.
